There is nothing funnier than watching Michael Scott yell “Dwight, you ignorant SLUT!” at 5:30am with Vlad, Ian and Tom. We all have problems. R.

The Internet? Bah! | Newsweek.com →
Via Angus My favourite quotes being, “Yet Nicholas Negroponte, director of the MIT Media Lab, predicts that we’ll soon buy books and newspapers straight over the Intenet. Uh, sure.” and “the network is missing a most essential ingredient of capitalism: salespeople.” I think it’s really interesting to see this.  Sort of a time capsule…of stupidity. R.

Holy Shit. Thursday’s Lost episode was actually GOOD…like, REALLY good.  It was written by Brian K. Vaughan.  I’m still astounded. It made sense, there were answers, it was fucking INTERESTING AND ENTERTAINING.  This hasn’t happened in a while.  I can’t actually sum up this episode in one sentence.   whoa. R.

Gah...Sushi Coma
scubed: Has this ever happened to you? After you have eaten a copious ammount of spicy salmon crisp rolls and white tuna, you just want to sleep. Every damn time.  There was once, I remember, after sushi for my friend Mel’s birthday close to the end of last semester, I was still AT the table, talking to Cliff and Emma, and my eyes were basically shutting on their own.   Coffee solved...

There are three weeks until the film is due for grading, four for the industry screening. There are 2 1/2 weeks til a portfolio for Pixar is due, four til Dreamworks for their respective story internships. Four weeks til I am done school forever. May 1st will be an awesome and terrifying day. It still isn’t fully settling in, otherwise I think I would be panicking much, much more than I...

“The CBS hit comedy How I Met Your Mother returns Monday night with an all new episode! This time around, Ted lives like there’s no tomorrow during a St. Patrick’s Day celebration with Barney. Be sure to tune in 8pm Monday night.” I cannot wait. Fun to be had by all. Also, Undeclared is surprisingly good. R.

To show the absurdity of my breadth elective, the sci-fi class I’m taking: I just got back my essay which took me all of two hours to write, comparing two books, one of which I haven’t ever read.   I got an 18/20 with the comment, and I quote, “A+.  A fine analysis of the topic.  Strongly written.” Also, I’m pretty sure I did better than most people who actually...

Freakin’ myspace.   Usually cluttered, this page is somewhat as well, but fairly clean in that it doesn’t look like a 16 year old girl shat on the screen in neon. This girl is a friend of my friend Bobee in France.  They were in the same class together before Aurelie dropped out to pursue her singing career.  Not sure if you’ll enjoy it, but thought I’d put it up anyway....

Language
So, a general question to everyone who is reading this. What are your thoughts on speaking a different (native or otherwise) language around those who don’t?   The reason I’m asking is because last night, I attended an industry sponsored event, and an acquaintance introduced me to an industry professional who was (east) indian.  Now, the way in which I was introduced was by him...
