brokengentleman:for those so afraid of rejection / confrontation that the classic ‘post-it-on-livejournal-when-you-know-they-read-it’ is too intimidating. It’s pretty funny that a site like that exists. Guess some people hate confrontation. I’m going to send you one Jon :P R.

Starting an intense workout schedule/set with Matt and Jimmy today. Let’s DO THIS THING! R.
Fuck.
Stupid everything. Also, congrats Jon, seriously, seriously awesome. R.
Vancouver?
Never really thought about it, but this studio came to our lecture this morning, they’re based in Vancouver. Apparently they’re always looking for board artists as “they are really hard to find”, so I have a review with them at 4:45. Hm. R.
Ouch.
Sometimes, looking at art blogs can be incredibly inspirational, sometimes they make me reconsider life. Freakin’ insane french artists. I swear, there must be something in the water over there… Gotta get me some. R.
I hate technology.
Why is it that hard drives have an incredible affinity to repeatedly DIE on me? Luckily, I’ve learned the warning signs and learned to back things up. Nonetheless, somethings are always lost. Technology - things I love deeply and despise extremely…all at the same time. A whirlwind of emotions. Fuck. R.

Lesson to the masses: #1
This has happend once before whilst in University. Unknowingly I had listened to the entire discography of The Cure in the course of a long weekend. I had nothing wrong in my life, yet somehow that feeling was transfered to me. I think I need warm tea.. and possibly something up-beat… Electric Six perhaps. — scubed That sounds kind of depressing. Hangouts soon. Watch a happy movie. R.
The Joker.
Jon, Singha, Heath Ledger is dead. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080122/ap_en_mo/obit_ledger Apparently, The Dark Knight is finished though. R.
On joining Tumblr...
Deep: You should join Tumblr, c’mon, be part of the herd!! Sarah: I refuse to be either scene or herd. **Lindsay, Jon, I suggest you prod Sarah into joining. R.
wow.
even if nothing comes from this, it shows me my ideas have at least enough merit to catch the attention of the people i respect. i am smiling like an idiot right now. — brokengentleman Here’s hoping man, here’s hoping! Also, forgive me or not, you have to admit that 2 bingo’s is pretty fucking sweet. R.
civ'd out (?)
12 hours, 39 minutes later… i think the next game will have to be set to a more difficult level. but anyway. it’s time for a little bit of a boycott i believe, if i want to get any work done. it’s suprisingly satisfying to make grand decisions about your cities while sitting until you have a numb bum. le sigh. — btrsweet My god. Did you play for 12 hours straight? All star!...
long talk with the parents
Well said, man. Well said. R. -about how my community really needs to, without forgetting, find a way to move past the past, and stop looking at slavery and it’s lingering effects as the cause for everything. we can’t legislate equality. we can’t protest the world into equality. and we really, really can’t teach youth to use it as an excuse to fall short, give up, or...

The Bank Job trailer →
— brokengentleman Awesome. I want to see it. Glad to know Jason Statham will continue to have a career after the (assumed) atrocious movie by Uwe Boll whose name I still have not learned. R.
Re: Documentary
It is very benificial to have a family member who is training to be a doctor when you are looking for medical information and research. I just cut my research time by 80% — scubed Being brown, I’d assume one of us would have at least several of some sort of doctor/engineer/lawyer/”respectable career” types somewhere in the pile of relatives that we’ve accumulated....
Better and better...
One of my teachers just informed me that he’s going to Paris over reading week and renting an apartment literally steps away from the grocery shop in Amelie. What has two thumbs and is jealous? THIS GUY! R.

2 years.
Updated blog, nothing special, but it’s been up for 2 years as of yesterday. I’ve actually been updating it regularly. It’s pretty hilarious seeing some of the first stuff I’d posted and also refreshing to see some sort of improvement. That is all. R.
I am alive
that is all — scubed And the masses rejoiced. Well, at least those who read this. R.

Could Barney be right?
I just had a thought while doing some HIMYM trivia. Ted was 27 when we first met him. In the first episode, Barney remarks “don’t get married til you’re 30.” His 30th birthday involves some insanity with a goat, if I recall correctly. Ted’s 30th birthday would have been this season. They introduced his future wife’s “thing with the yellow...
POCKET SAND!
Randeep: - You get the graphic novels that jon already has. - a choice of my dvds - My Macbook. (you need it more than anyone) - My book on the Kama Sutra. (look to brackets above) That is all — scubed You know what I like Singha, the Macbook would be a very thoughtful gift. R.

Photos
I think I’m getting more and more intrigued by photography. Which, I guess makes sense after watching so many movies and wanting to get into boarding, composition and shots are just genuinely interesting. Time to start taking more pictures, no more point-and-clicking for me! R.

The Orphange.
Saw the Orphanage tonight with Jon and Alex. I really liked it, yet will never see it again. Call me what you will, but horror movies and I don’t get along unless they are ripe to be made fun of. Extremely well done and so, SO creepy, I spent most of the last bit of the movie reading the subtitles and not so much watching the movie. The Orphanage has copious amounts of the one thing I...
TED: Ideas Worth Spreading.
So this is interesting. Talks on all subjects by a diverse group of people. I’ve only listened to one so far, by J.J. Abrams and it was really entertaining and interesting. Only about 20 minutes long: http://www.ted.com/index.php/talks/view/id/205 A friend recommended me to watch this one, entitled “5 dangerous things you should let your kids do.”:...
This strike needs to end.
Barney: “Alright, fine, the stripper at Stewart’s Bachelor Party was a 15.” Ted: “She was 15?!?!” Barney: “A 15…like in blackjack.” Ted: “As in, not sure whether you’d hit it?” Barney: “Exactly!” Ted: “Nice.” -Ted Mosby and Barney Stinson on HIMYM I miss this show. They need new...
Discovery.
My first post with Tumblr. Hurrah. I went and saw Juno again with a bunch of people at school - it was even better and more entertaining the second time around. Also, something interesting: Someone is taking pictures from the Sartorialist and creating palettes from them. Helpful if you like playing with colour, taking pictures or just generally enjoy dressing well. Find it at:...
